You copied the prompt exactly, but your picture looks nothing like the example. This is normal. AI image tools are built to vary their output, and several things affect what you get.
Your starting photo
Lighting, angle and image quality all carry through. A dark, blurry or side-on photo gives the AI less to work with.
The tool and its version
Different tools interpret the same words differently, and each tool changes as it is updated. A prompt written for one tool may need small changes in another.
Randomness
Most tools add a degree of randomness to every image. Running the same prompt twice can give two quite different results.
How to get closer to the look you want
- Start with a sharp, well-lit, front-facing photo
- Use the tool the prompt was written for
- Run the prompt two or three times and keep the best result
- Change one detail at a time, then compare
- If your face changes, add “keep my facial features exactly the same”
